Twenty students from Year 9 represented Elizabeth College in the Guernsey Bailiwick Schools Challenge Cup run by the Army at Rue Mainguy. Each team of ten students had to undertake a range of tasks including building towers, transporting objects and constructing vehicles. Every task was designed to test teamwork, communication, problem solving and leadership.
Twelve teams took part from schools across the Bailiwick and Elizabeth College were placed second overall, narrowly beaten by a Year 10 team from Alderney. Thanks to Major Roche from the Army Careers service who organised the event.
